📍Four Seasons Hotel Seoul, Korea
韓国　フォーシーズンズホテルソウル

韓国のシンボル名所「景福宮」を見下ろすお部屋に泊まることになりました♪
PM2.5でしょうか？ずいぶん空気が霞んでいたのがちょっと残念でしたが、すばらしい眺めでした

ロビーにはニコライバーグマンのフラワーアートがあって素敵です。

クラブラウンジ、朝食のレベルも高くて美味しかったです。
朝食ビュッフェはすごいバラエティで、朝からチョコレートファウンテンなんかもありました！

I ended up staying in a room overlooking Gyeongbokgung Palace, a symbol of Korea.
Maybe it was PM2.5? It was a bit disappointing that the air was quite hazy, but the view was amazing.

The lobby was beautiful with Nicolai Bergmann's floral art.

The club lounge and breakfast were both delicious.
The breakfast buffet had an incredible variety, and even had a chocolate fountain in the morning!

世界遺産に登録されているジェッダ歴史地区
木組みの窓が特徴で風情がある街並みです

サウジアラビア開発中で工事現場をよく見かけます
旧市街も工事中が多くて撮れるとこは限られました

The Historic District of Jeddah is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The townscape is characterized by its timber-framed windows and has a charming atmosphere.

Saudi Arabia is currently undergoing development, and construction sites are common.

There was also a lot of construction going on in the Old City, so I was limited in where I could take photos.

📍Exhibition Center Basel, Switzerland
スイス　メッセ・バーゼル展示場

世界的に有名なスイス発の建築家ユニット、ヘルツォーク＆ド・ムーロンの作品。
青空で１枚目の写真をイメージしていたけどドン曇り。
でもモノクロもよかったかも？😁

ヘルツォーク＆ド・ムーロンの代表作にはロンドンのテートモダン、日本ならプラダ青山店などがあります。
先日Postしたバーゼルの歴史あるホテル、グランドホテル・レトロワ・ロワも彼らが一部改築したところでした。
作風が決まりなく多彩。

今日明日は寒くて雪も降りそうですね

This is a work by the world-famous Swiss architectural duo Herzog & de Meuron.
I was imagining a blue sky for the first photo, but it's completely overcast.
But black and white might have been good too?

Some of Herzog & de Meuron's representative works include the Tate Modern in London and the Prada Aoyama store in Japan.
The historic Grand Hotel Les Trois Rois in Basel, which I posted about the other day, was also partially renovated by them.
Their style is diverse and has no set pattern.

📍Brenners Park Hotel & Spa, Baden-Baden, Germany
ドイツ　バーデンバーデン　ブレナーズパークホテル＆スパ

「ヨーロッパの大温泉保養都市群」として世界遺産に登録された、
ドイツの温泉保養地バーデン・バーデン

通り道なので寄ろうというくらいだったのですが、
街と泊まったこのホテルの空気感が素敵で気に入ってしまいました。

黒い森に囲まれた、1872年からの歴史あるホテル。
食事は美味しく、建物も眺めも素敵、プールやスパも充実してました。
緑眩しい季節にまた行ってみたいところです。

Baden-Baden, a German spa resort town, is registered as a World Heritage Site as one of Europe's "Great Spa Resort Towns."

We just dropped by during the trip, but we fall in love with the wonderful atmosphere of the town and this hotel.

Surrounded by the Black Forest, this historic hotel dates back to 1872.
One of Oetker Collection Hotel, same as Bristol Paris.
The food was delicious, the building was beautiful, and the pool and spa were great.
Hopefully I'd love to return in the dazzling green season！
